JULY JULY JULY

It is much too hot to really be able to think straight and it's only July.  What about August and September? For lack of having a better description and yet clinging to the positive, it's like being in hot yoga.  A good time for forced contemplation.  You get into the routine, you sweat a lot, and you actually might pass out and die.  If you don't pass out and die, you may just figure out something deep and meaningful.

So the first pose is walking the dogs in the heat twice a day.  I guess that's not down dog....

And try to get some painting done with all of this extra time.   I haven't figured out yet what exactly the meaning is in all of it, but I'm working on it.  By September I just may have all the answers.  Or better yet, come up with a great new body of work!

I love getting little glimpses of your new work.

Have you ever thought about starting a secondary blog for things that are fresh off the easel (and for sale)? No text necessary, just a painting a post. Lots of artists sell their work this way, and it gives you fans and followers a first chance at your creations!

I love that Idea! I just had a summer art party at a precious Snoball Stand! I did all the pieces small and for under $100 --I think I should at leat give the bloggers a shot at the unsold pieces--thank you for the thought!

I love that you don't know where you're headed, that's interesting.

Isn't this heat insane? I never thought I'd be excited that the highs were in the low 90's.
